because i havent got the answer im looking for james. i didnt see a post from you on that last thread.
anyway, i know the r-spec is superior... in respect to cooling and the v-spec is superior with its flow, the r-spec is more expensive because cooling is a higher priority to most tuners.
but my question is how much better is the r-spec at cooling than the v-spec ?? if its not much than i will get a v-spec and stop posting threads about the same thing.

Nathan maybe you should email the manufacturer and get some details off them, they would have all the info you need

As stated in one of my other posts Nathan, a member here has a V Spec FMIC on his 400RWKW 2JZ-GTE powered Soarer and it has stood the test of time. If that's not good enough for you, I don't know what is.

There's not much difference in price. Go the R-Spec. I have one & it is superb. It also allows you scope for upgrade on other components without having to re-upgrade your intercooler. Don't go lower than V-spec...there's a dramatic drop in performance. Remember that Greddy has developed these with zillions of hours of driving & track time, so they are proven performers.

I think you need an R-spec running such a big snail too (just saw the other post). Don't buy local, they are just too expensive. I grabbed mine a while ago from Jason at Greenline. Pretty good prices & fast turnaround.
