ok well today when i was driving to pick someone up, my car felt like it was misfirring...like normal coil packs,
but the other day i put some araldite over the cracks and what not.. i put everything back properly i know i did! i double checked, then it start jerking around heaps... then all of a sudden i got an error message http://soarercentral.com/sc-forum/messages/1113/74543.jpg
which means Engine Eletrical System, when this error came up and it was jumping around the place. i put my foot flat and it would NOT go above 1.5k revs At all it would just start shuddering and feltl ike it was going to stall. but its an auto...
the message stayed up for ages, and stopped...
what could cause this..
is it possible the araldite i put on the coil packs some of it melted and went into the spark plug chamber? i dunno... but yeah, 1.5 revs and it would not go over, even with my foot entirely flat..???
im bout ready to start saving up and buying a newer one, cause this one is giving me major hassles now ey 
to much money lol |

Check the Map sensor vacum line is on, OR try the Fuel Pump Ecu bypass.

Map sensor lines are top right corner of the bay. Check the hoses going to that.
Sounds like an air leak of some sort. Check all piping/hoses. |

oh ok.. but it stopped after awhile?... it just shuddered like it did when the coils were cracked... what am i looking for? any disconnected or any holes? |

Have you run diagnostics? There's probably a code stored after that sort of carry on.
I doubt Araldite got into the engine unless your spark plugs are really loose... |

i did the spark plugs myself i made sure they werent loose, was just more of a theory hahah =) |

Check the battery leads to see if they are tight. My old Mazda did the same, the battery leads had somehow worked themselves loose. |

Well first you open the bonnet, then find and open the diagnostics cover by the intake manifold and using a paperclip or similar connect the Te1 and SEARCH pins together. Then go and turn on the SEARCH and check the SEARCH which will tell you of any error codes stored.
Then search on here to find what the code means.

it started doing it again today but then it works itself out? im really confused, when it happens it just starts jarring and jerking and feels like it will stall...im really confused, ill check the battery...
but ill need more help on the diagnostics...dont wanna screw anything anything u?...and dunno what the turn on search means haha
i do know the error that came up just need to know what caused it so but yeah ill give it a whirl i guess?... anyone got a pic thread on what to do? |

Ty, seriously mate, take this car to a professional & get it properly assessed. Then you will have a list of the issues & you can organise fixing the problems in order of priority & as your budget permits. |

The good is usually white-ish and stops moisture build up and rusting of the connections etc. |
