keep the hose on and simply put a PLUG in it to stop any air passing through it. I did it using a GFB plug thingo that came with a mates BOV.

Im pretty confident i still have that floating around if you are keen. Jam that into the hose, use a hose clamp in the middle (the plug has ridges on both ends).

Then remove all the vacuum lines also from it and it will be fine.

So just take those 2 vac lines off and plug them up with a screw or something?

well the two vac lines (i think there are two) from the BOV wont leak or anything once you remove them.

Arent they T'eed into one line somewhere that joins back into the engine ?

Its been a while since ive played with a stocko BOV.

BUt yeh , pull em off , block em up. Make sure you plug up the BIG pipe also with a plug that is the most important one.

I can send you my old plug thingo for $7 delivered if you like.

Instead of using a plug in the hose

pull the big hose off the BOV, and you will find a welch plug will fit in there perfectly, I can't remember the size, but mine was a perfect fit, then just put the hose back on and thats it...
