i think i have a possible power steering fluid leak. my steering started to make this intense grinding sound every time i turned the wheel last week, found out i had no power steering fluid.
got a bottle and filled it up, two days ago i had to fill it up again because it was making the grinding sounds again.
theres oil all over my garage floor

any suggestions as to what it is ??

Wipe the dirty areas clean, start the car, do a few left/right locks (with the front off the ground to not put too much pressure on it), see where it is leaking from.

From there, do what is needed to stop the leak, and do a full flush to leave no air bubbles as this will also give you that grinding noise. I think there is a tutorial in the 'How To' section of this website.

most likely high pressure hose, or o-ring seal in the pump (although that tends to me small leak)

if its only a small leak (sounds like it isn't)

you can try to use one of those "power steering leak stoppers" in a bottle. i'm not sure how well they work though

but yeah i'd go with chris's idea

fix it , and fix it right the first time.. dont use band aid soulotins like" powersteering leak stoppers" take ya car to car wash and a jack, jack it up, give it a good clean, and then turn it lock to lock, with fluid in tank, and engine running, and the leak will soon, show its ugly head, i would say it not a very big leak. cause they dont hold much fluid, about 500ml from memory.. which is bugger all. anyway good luck..
