i found that alot of people, on here keep asking the same question about this so i thought i will shed some light.
when using the diagnostic port,TE1 and E1,your digital dash will come up with a message in jap, witch will mean that u are in diagnostic mode. u then have to hit the scroll button to start the error codes first 1 will b EFI ok no problems, but if EFI NG, then there is a fault, wait for up to 30 seconds, then the code will come up, and run though any problem codes, with @ 30 seconds between each code. once the first code is up again thats it.
hit the scroll button again and up will come ECT, the same again NG = not good, ok fine. now 4 the TE2 and E1. ING off, car in neutral, aircon off. bridge the TE2 and E1 pins. start the car drive around, trying to make the problem present,so it can pick it up in the fault codes. then using the TE1 and E1 pin,s test again. thats it. hope this helps, as i had it spend a while trying, and going though all the on here. if any one is still having problems, feel free to ring me.0401202517.danny

English please.
When using the diagnostic port,TE1 and E1,your digital dash will come up with a message in japanese, which will mean that you are in the diagnostic mode. You then have to hit the scroll button to start the error codes. The first one will be "EFI ok". If you see this then there are no problems, but if you see "EFI NG", then there is a fault and you need to wait for up to 30 seconds for the code to come up. It will continue to run though any problem codes, with 30 seconds between each code. Once the first code is up again, that's it.
Hit the scroll button again and up will come "ECT", the same again "NG" = not good, "OK"= fine.
Now, for the TE2 and E1. With the engine off, car in neutral, aircon off, bridge the TE2 and E1 pins. Start the car drive around, trying to make the problem present,so it can pick it up in the fault codes. Then, using the TE1 and E1 pins test again. That's it.
Hope this helps, as I had to spend a while trying, and going though all the information on here.

Danny, my spelling and grammar are far from perfect. The use of 'b', '4' and 'ING' (engine???) and all that texting crap is not appreciated on this forum. You have contributed a decent bit of information to the site, but it would be a shame to see it lost in all that text rubbish, or worse, just ignored.
No offense intended, just getting in before the workday crowd arrives tomorrow.
