I have a 50mm wastegate, screamer, free flowing 3 inch exhaust into 2 x 2.5 pipes. emanage ultimate ECU, Sard 800cc injectors, 100mm core FMIC, Titan adjustable cam gears, Walbro 600hp fuel pump, HKS EBC. I am not sure how much power it will be able to make. But I will be happy with anything between 280rwkw - 300rwkw.

Almost time for your tune, will be good to see the results and compare to Michael, Jeff and your hypergear. Been a good read

Cihans trip to Brisbane will be delayed for a week or two. I also have Lew making me a new steel oil return pipe. The Rubber one is fouling eventhough the manifold is wrapped with heat tape! So its best I get it sorted before the tuning anyway. If anyone in Brisbane is needing their car tuned, PM Cihan and get on the list. He said he will have plenty of time this round. Also remember he is not only an emanage specialist. He tunes a variety of different ECU's

good to hear Grant. Out of interest... where does Cihan actually DO his tuning? What is a tune worth? My starlet is running all stock ECU at the moment and i dont see myself going down that route.. perhaps a SAFC II or something but thats bout it. *hmmmmm i seem to remember saying that before hahaha*

Hey James, The last time he came up he did his tuning in a workshop in Logan. I can’t recall what it was called now. It was near Moss street. I think he has two charges, one for a full tune and one for a re-tune / tweak. It’s probably best to PM him to get some more info. I don’t think it would take him too long to tune a SAFC.

| I picked up the Car today from Lew. I have a nice 19mm steel oil drain pluming into the stock oil return hose at the engine (easy to replace if it wears out down the track).
This is the reason why I went steel. My silicone return pipe got cooked even though the manifold was heat wrapped. I was sooooo lucky it did not leak before I got it to Lew.

Whoa nice example! Plenty of people are running fuel hosing as oil returns, right next to the exhaust side piping. Just an accident waiting to happen. Might want to try an actual metal heat shield between the dump and everything else. Toyota got it right when they did it.

yeah i ran a steel line well alloy anyway, did not want to take the risk, and then ran heat proof cover, the orange lagging stuff, over the lot, to protect the joints on turbo

Hey David, Lew is good, I think he is focusing on his House renovations at the moment. He did not mention any new stuff for the Van.

Yeah Aaron, that's what I did not want to happen. I recon the heat wrap on my manifold would have been like a wick. Very hard to put out if it caught on fire.

I got the car tuned last friday, but my auto was slipping and my BOV was leaking so the best run was 270rwkw. Cihan said that its probably making over 300rwkw otherwise. I have replaced my BOV and I am going to get my auto rebuilt. It should make over 300rwkw then. Nevertheless its seeing full boost (24psi) at 3600RPM! So its lots of fun even at 270rwkw.

| I went to a local Dyno day at Sandgate today. The car is still going strong, but the auto is still slipping.

Is this after you just rebuilt it? Are you SURE the auto IS slipping? or is it the converter trying to lockup

Hi Christian, I have not rebuilt the auto yet. Hopefully I will be getting it done in the next few weeks as funds become available. I think the auto locks up ok, but starts to slip thereafter. The dyno operator commented that it was starting to slip.
