i have i 91 tt and i blew both turbos 2 weeks ago. well i have now replaced both turbos and everything is exactly how it was before they took a crap. i have checked all the vacuum lines and all intercooler piping is connected. the problem is that now it still wont rev past 2500 rpm. i dont have any idea whats going on.

Blown Caps in the Ecu . Try and borrow someones ECU and see how it goes then , or Map sensor lines.

Are you sure you blew Both turbos ? Were they both missing the exhaust wheels when you removed them ?

no, actually it idles great like it always has. i would love to try someones ecu but i am in the us and there are prob only 10 tt soarers here. i have 2 friends in florida with them but they are 3 hours away and at this point i cant just drive down there and try it out. i would hate to order a new ecu and that not be it though.

You can check for caps yourself in the Ecu . Any electronics guy should be able to repair it.

Get in contact with Damian Ware from this forum . He repairs all the Aus ecu's, he may be able to help you out.

Was the timing Belt done at the same time you had it apart ? Cam timing could do this as well.

Or try the Fuel pump Ecu bypass and see if that helps, but it sounds more like an ecu thing.

Alson, if your ECU is stuffed, I got a spare Auto TT ECU lying around here. It came out of my previous soarer and was working 100%.

Shoot me off a PM if your interested
