So last night I was driving home - rather spiritedly I might add, and all of a sudden my car has a horrendous stutter and all turbo power is lost!
So immediately I think, great I've just blown a turbo! Funny too because I had just been hassling my boyfriend about having a look at my car for me & saying that if he doesn't have look at it soon it will blow up!
So I drive it home, very sedately & with no boost and am starting to stress about how much this is all going to cost me!
So this morning I thought, may as well open my bonnet just so I can look at my car and feel even more confused. But this is what I found....

Michael, that look sliek the stock throttle body hose thats been cut and had the BOV adaptor pipe fitted to it .
Get the pipe beaded or lipped, that will stop it coming off. And dont worry bout the hose clamps, mine are still hanging on after 3 yrs of 18psi punishment ,hehe.

but the proper silicone hose. is damm hard to pull of with out a clamp. that black hose. she got there is rubbish. it just rubber have you ever tried to pull a proper silicone hose of say a bit of polished stainless hehe it hard

yeah ben mine was the one underneath aswell, had to take battery off and the thing it sits in and had to TRY and screw it and unbolt it for above engine bay! big pain in the ass! had to take it all off and degrease it so no problems anymore one i degreased it, it stuck like glue
