hey i used to think the big puddle of fluid was pws fluid but i recently had my pws rack reconditioned and the oil is still leaking....

anyway my question was how many places can engine oil leak from ??

many.. MANY places buddy.

Get yourself some degreaser, and do a decent job cleaning up your engine from all angles and then once its nice and clean check it again and you will see exactly where the leak is coming from.

LOL to funny.

lets start, could be cam seals, cam cover gasket, headgasket, front and rear main seals, oil pump, sump gasket, turbo feed lines, turbo return lines, rear half moon seals, thats a few.

What colour is the oil? It may be auto trans fluid as well, if u mistook it for power steering fluid (red) it may well be your trans

hmmm so if my rear turbo is leaking oil its possible its just feed line or return line and not the actualy seal?

depends if its an external leak, its problably 1 of them.

If its an internal leak, aka blue exhaust smoke, its turbo seals

its external cause i can touch the oil under the turbo, no smoke :-)

well then, diagnose it, and fix it, otherwise your losing oil, which is never a good thing
