nope cause its manual .
Yeah it just started 1 morning, thought it would of dissapeared once warmed up, but didnt.
It feels like a broken engine mount, or part of the engine vibrating on the bodyworks, transfering it through the car into the steering wheel, dash, seats etc.
Threw it up on the hoist and went over everything, engine mounts seem fine, gearbox mounts are good exhaust isnt hitting anywhere etc.
It was extremely bad at first, i reset the computer and it has become better but its still there, before i could sit in the car and you wouldnt feel 1 vibration throughout the car.
Its idling around the 750RPM mark which its spot on from what i understand. It seems to be idling as well as it did beforehand, i can sit my hand on the cam cover and its very smooth, very well balanced motor
So yeah i just dunno, the idle become rough when i was playing with the TPS switch a fair while back, adjusted it to a point and its good. I doubt its that though, as its been fine up until now.
Wouldnt mind getting the correct voltage reading to adjust it to though just to rule it out.

ah, i had a suspicion it may of been engine mount, i have noticed under full throttle first gear runs that theres a somewhat thump from the front end when letting of the throttle, i assumed it may be the engine mount.
Il have to get it up and take another look, might get the engine hoist onto the motor and pull the mounts out and look.
Whats a good replacement if it is in fact the mounts? Id prefer to get new if possible.

sorry for the double post, but im getting a HKS OEM high flow filter from nengun for my soarer for about 80AUD shipped.
Just had a look there and they have TRD engine mounts for a pretty good price. Im confused that they have 2 different models there, but i dont know the difference, one is stated FR the other RR

Hey Scott I have the same problem! I have also been told it is the engine mounts! I had to replace them in my old car for the same problem! When i 1st brought my soarer it was smooth as can be not one vibration and now within the last few months it vibrates like hell in idle! Especially before the car has warmed up or when the AC is on. If i throw it into Neutral the vibration seems to go away ( to a certain degree ) just checked out that link, would would 12,012 yen equal out to be in AUD? cheers

ah it dosnt show AUD when your not signed in.
It sais for the FR ones 161AUD each or for the RR ones its 130AUD each i think.
Just trying to figure out which 1 i need
The vibration has seemed to dissapear now, had to drive down to the coast, about 200k trip, got back and it was idling smooth, will find out next time i start it though, engine may of just shiften to a spot which didnt cause vibration through the car hehe

well its back, first time ive driven the car since last drive, same thing, vibration at idle.
Whats the best way of checking the engine mounts? Engine crane and slacken the lower engine mounts nuts off? Lift motor and then remove the upper bolt to remove mounts?

well its definately engine mounts, they have literally disintegrated, the top section has collapsed through the rubber onto the lower section, so the engine is basically resting metal on metal onto the frame.
New engine mounts from castle hill are 80 each so there on there way
