Speaking of leaking oil, I started my 150,000km service this week - first job was to replace the PCV valve as I was starting to get some oil ooze from the cam covers - $112 NZD for a new PCV valve! me! The old one was well gunged up though so I'm glad I did it. Had to replace the piping too as the old stuff had gotten so hard I had to cut it off.
OEM transmission strainers are now up to $70 NZD too! Thought about leaving the old one in there, but I figure that over 50,000km between changes is less than 0.2 of a cent per KM.

If your getting the Engine Electrical Error and the car not wanting to rev I would almost bet the Map sensor is either disconnected or faulty. Easy way to find out is to unplug the vacuum line going into the map sensor and see if it runs any differently.
