Ok, just got a set of new coil packs ( no cracks)

got all 6 for 100 bucks!! :-)

put them in, drove around loved it! finally smoother no missfire, drove home,

next morning got up, plugs played up

got a missfire then system electrical error came up and it was spluttering all over the place, car wouldnt go above 2 thousand revs,

so i open up the grill took the coils out, still fine no cracks, open up the spark plugs all good

except for chamber 2 4 and 5 these 3 had oil in them, i know for an obvious fact this is fkcuing bad bad BAD!

so any sugestions for the cause or the solutions :-( im unemployed due to redundancy so a mechanic isnt an option at this stage :-(:-(

I can't remember, but do 2, 4, and 5 run on the same lead? Could have something to do with the lead.

i would say that the oil is most likely, coming from the rocker covers, leaking down the plug hole, very common.

first thing to do is figure out which code it is saying to you. it is telling you what is wrong with the car.. so listen.

also make sure that you coil clips/plug are on right. make sure your battery is charged/ charging.

now did you gap the plugs right? when you installed them.. and what plugs did you fit.

4 runs of the lead on the right and the other 2 on left, i think haha

system electrical error, (had it beofre haha)

i dont have any oil in the chamber area itself, only oil i had was when i took the plugs out and looked in the hole.

clips(maybe the biggest problem) had problems before i think(but never oil)
plugs are in right

running 14.5volts on battery

im using Iridiums gap 8mm

thanks guys

map sensor, is on the fire wall just behind the intake plenum, it has a hose going to intake, and a 3 wire plug.

Speaking of leaking oil, I started my 150,000km service this week - first job was to replace the PCV valve as I was starting to get some oil ooze from the cam covers - $112 NZD for a new PCV valve! me! The old one was well gunged up though so I'm glad I did it. Had to replace the piping too as the old stuff had gotten so hard I had to cut it off.

OEM transmission strainers are now up to $70 NZD too! Thought about leaving the old one in there, but I figure that over 50,000km between changes is less than 0.2 of a cent per KM.

If your getting the Engine Electrical Error and the car not wanting to rev I would almost bet the Map sensor is either disconnected or faulty.
Easy way to find out is to unplug the vacuum line going into the map sensor and see if it runs any differently.

Here is a pic of the map sensor, it sits on the firewall behind intake manifold.
