So i need to replace my engine mounts my car is starting shudder badly at idle. Its really annoying! i have had the car for neally 2 years now and its always been such a smooth ride with no creaks or vibrations! Does anyone know how much it would cost to get them replaced?

75 per mount, thats just the parts.

Il be doing my mounts in roughly 2 weeks at work, should only be a matter of engine crane on motor, remove engine mount upper and lower nuts, and lift motor, remove old mounts and slot in new mounts, but will find out lol.

So should only be a matter of 1 to 2 hours max, but dont hold me to it as i havnt done it yet, but to me its all it looks like

castle hill toyota, email them, its 75 per mount, so 150 for the set and then what ever shipping.

I think the motor may have just shifted to a position that it didnt transfer through the body, but yes its back, not as harsh as it was initially, but its there.

Also while having a look at them realised they are basically totally disintegrated and have collapsed on them selves, the RHS one isnt bad, the LHS one is stuffed to high hell haha.

Id get the mounts mate, saves the mechanic having to order them so less downtime for you and your car.

But yeah id say 1 to 2 hours max, i reckon i can do it in 1 hour if its as simple as it looks, may be a bit more of a bugger for me as i have LEWS dumps which might make it awkward

you can do that, i just emailed them.

Go here

http://www.castlehilltoyota.com.au/parts_enquiry.php

Fill out the form with vehicle prefixes

enquire about parts, and they will reply shortly after.

Ask them to give you a part number as well and you can confirm its correct on toyodigy.com.
