Should be bore and thickness.

Get a factory gasket, multi layer metal and cheaper usually.

PM me what prices youve been quoted so far and what brands.

1. hks 1.6mm thickness
2. apexi 1.5mm thickness
3. apexi 1.8mm thickness

i am leaning towards the hks one but want to know which one would be better ??
would i need more thickness or less ?

hey justin are you saying that the factory toyota head gasket is better than an after market hks or apexi gasket ??
and i already have those 'rubber gaskets' for the rocker covers.

OEM VRS kit will give you everything for assembly of the head, stem seals, gaskets, etc etc.

You gotto think, toyota spent millions upon millions in engineering etc for this car/engine, you think they are going to cheap out with the headgasket? The OEM headgasket is a metal headgasket and as good as any. OEM all the way :-)

Thicker headgasket will drop the compression and it won't go as well off boost but you will be able to run higher boost.

Are you having the head machined? Need to take that into consideration too.
