hey i am getting a new fmic and new bov and i was wondering if i weld the bov piping onto the fmic piping (just before intake manifold) will this effect performance in any way ??

p.s i sold the fmic that was on the car for a very good price thats why im getting a new one.

keeping in mind i still have the stock bov in its original position.
is this a bad thing ??
should i get it removed or keep it there ?
what advantages are there with removing the stock bov ??

If by 'performance' you mean the amount of power your car makes, then no it won't affect your cars performance.

It blocks the hole where the stock blow off valve is. The advantage of keeping the stock bov, is that if you get defected, you still have a road legal bov.

I've heard that positioning your blow off valve just before intake manifold, and obviously after your front mount is the best place to put it.
