Knocking could be the issue then. Doesn't it only knock when it starves for fuel though? Sorry, I've never come across anyone that has experienced a knock before so never really dived into this problem before, so I may not make any sense. Car is pretty much back to stock now.

now EVEN AT FIRST START UP its dieing bad now power just dies in the ass, driving to work.

Have you tried the Fuel Pump bypass trick ? Condition of fuel filter ?

Throw it on a dyno for diagnosis off air/fuel mixtures, and run an actual diagnosis.

Sounds like ignition timing / retard, or very rich or very lean.

Could also try disconnect the intake temp sensor then water temp sensor and see if it changes anything. Factory ECU adds enrichment and pulls lots of timing when sensor inputs are missing.

no i was thinking the same thing, doing fuel by pass i have a walbro 255lt an hour pump,ill see if it changes daniel, cihan a friend said the same thing today when i called him, he said take it UNIGROUP, chuck it on the dyno and they will be able to diagnose what the problem is.. Cihan you got any more ideas as ive read through allot of posts and you no what your doing with these cars..

if any one is still reading this post,i tried everything clean all sensors, plugs,checked all wiring and harneses,fuel filter,coils,sparky's,every hose,hose clamps. couldn find it, then from what one off the boys said, i thought ill just try fuel by pass.To what i found was the car just sounds feels better,not real much lost of power, now could this mean i have a fuel prob.... please help now i mean pretty much confused to the problem

If the bypass jumper fixes your problem, then you need to replace the fuel pump ECU.

Bit of an update. My harmonic balancer has stripped off the rubber and fallen off. Now, is this related or has been the cause of the knocking symptoms, cam sensor error or loss of power?

chris,i stripped it off mine completely.snapped first out of the servo, crossed up big time then i seen something fly up under the front left wheel, lost the car on miltary rd cremorne, due to loss of powersteering,when i got it towed my mechanic said im very lucky didnt injure the radiator or fmic.. and from what i know u would have slowly been losing power.unitl it went
