so i did a quick search and found out V mount is for intercoolers (had no idea what this thread is about)

whats so different between V and a normal intercooler?

Air that's heated from the intercooler is not going through the radiator (whereas it normally would in your standard FMIC setup). Cooling, turbo response, and total cooling efficiency is also improved due to the shorter piping and positioning of the intercooler.

.. If it's done properly that is. Not needed on a day to day car IMO. Track/drift cars would definitely be better off with it though.
