First question

Just recently, i ended up pulling off my lews dump pipes again to repair a few leaks and fix a oxy sensor stud i snapped, after fitting it all back up (take note removed without touching the turbos) my boost has dropped to .8bar where it would peak at 1 bar before. Any ideas what could of caused this?

Ive gone over all my intercooler piping fittings, and all are tight, gone over all alloy pipes and no holes in them. Just odd that its happened now.

Installed a new oxygen sensor as well, but this dosnt have a input on mixtures etc when at full throttle? Only really has an input at idle and cruising?

And, when my tax comes in im planning on getting a 35R, and slowly getting bits and pieces to go single :-)

Now, im after the best place to purchase a turbo and at the best price.

Also im having a hard time deciding what AR rating to go.

want response so been told .63 rear housing, but then ive heard it suffers up the upper range as it runs out of puff.

Generally what RPM will the .63 housing come in, and what RPM will a .86 housing come in?

On capas site, they show a GT35, and a GT35R, as differnt options, is there any difference between the 2?

Thanks

NEw GT35r is $1850 here

I have a .82 rear housing on my 1.5j and its very responsive, so I'd say the .63 on a 1j should be good. I'm sure someone using such a set up can comment.

i have a gt3076r at moment on my 1j with cams and it hits 10psi by 3000rpm it has a .63 rear housing, so a gt35r should be tiny bit after that. .82 is responsive on 2j/1.5j's
the .82 i think usually hits more around the 3600 mark i used to have a t70 non ball bearing .82 and it was 4200rpm lol

it all depends on what you want to do with it. do you want power figures or drags or do you want response for cruising or racing
