Here is the senario,

I just recently installed my FCD, I've turned up my boost controller and I'm reaching about 14.6psi @ 45% duty on my Gizzmo MS-IBC. After deciding that it seems hight and that I may possibly have a boost leak I built my self a boost leak tester. So here is my concern.

I hooked up my boost leak tester to the begining of the intercooler piping right after the turbo hard pipe. When I pressurize the system I could hear air leaking into my valve cover and out the stink tube into my intake on the drivers side. After diagnosing that leak to my PCV valve I'm wondering if it's faulty.

Should a PCV valve be closed under boost if the engine is off?
Is this a possible boost leak?

I am using a 2JZ PCV valve that I installed approx 1 year of 12,000 km ago.

As far as I know PCV valves are closed under positive pressure so boost should not enter the valve cover.
