I’ve have notice after the car has been running for a great amount of time, enough to get the engine running at the normal temperature, when I leave the car off for a while and come back, the oil cap will have a small amount of milkiness on it. Could this be a BHG? But what is strange is there is no creaminess in the oil well looking into the cam covers and the oil on the dipstick. Could this just be that there is moisture in the engine? The car looks to have had a rough life and needs major love, 269K but still run’s smooth as, no vibrations or anything strange.

Hope it is, oil change is on the way so that should take out the moisture. My engine is very dirty inside the rocker corvers and and through out the whole engine, should i use oil flush to clean it out? Im just concerned that it might just only make things worst and my car will be blowing out smoke.

It is just condensation, it will always be there. Why do you think your engine is very dirty? Have you had it apart lately?

well i stuck a small light down there and there was that type of sludge build up all over the place, the type that builds up when cheap oil is used where my corona with the 3T-GTE has been running penrite HPR50 its whole ever since the conversion back in 01, has done prob 200km+ and inside is still clean as. I only bought this car a week ago and the owner didnt look like he took the best care.

Just change the oil regularly. If there is any buildup, setting it all loose with a flush product just gets it caught up somewhere else. Like in a bearing.

Narvay - best way to get the most out of an oil change is to give your car a good hiding for a minute or two before draining the oil. This way it will be nice and hot (so watch your hands) so a lot of the sludge will melt away. Leave it to drain for a good hour or so
