Having just got my Soarer back on the road after having the turbos replaced with 2nd hand ones I thought I would surely have a bit of peace at last. But no, for some reason my car seems intent on self=destructing.
A couple of days ago, the windows started playing up. They would only roll up or down when the car door was opened (ignition on, of course) so while actually driving the car, the windows both sides simply refused to move. I would have to stop the car, TURN THE ENGINE OFF and then open the door and turn the ignition back on (or start the car) and they would open (or close if that's what I wanted). But then, this morning, once I rolled 'em down, the bloody things are deader than a politicians heart.
I have checked all the fuses in the drivers side kick panel and also swapped the relay over with one from the fusebox under the bonnet but to no avail. No matter what I do, the windows won't budge. I've never had problems with them up to now. It's obviously an electrical fault.
Any suggestions,pointers or fixes anyone?
