Hi everyone ,

After three or so years with no problems at all it seems i have a crack in my radiator about 70mm long across the top tank just under where the "returning pipe" ? comes back in to the radiator,
Ive sourced an aftermarket radiator for $440.
obviously someone has done a swap ..how hard , any tips?

and is it possible to replace just the top tank ?

Cheers Owen W.

Around $200 to replace the top tank and get the entire radiator reconditioned at NATRAD. (last year anyhow)

been covered 453 times, I believe. Try searching.

Otherwise, radiator is easy to replace. start at the top and remove the bits you need as you come to them. Careful with the fan shroud.

I just had a new top tank put on and the radiator cleaned out and tested. Cost $207 not including removal and refit. My temp gauge has never gone over halfway in the 3.5 years i've had it and my mechanic said it was over %50 blocked with some crap, so that goes to show how good the standard cooling system is.
