I know for an Auto TT, the diff ratio is 4.08.
Is this the same for the manual?

Im planning to change to a Torsen diff, but with a smaller ratio (Aristo). Now, what difference would it make?

Yes it is the same ratio . Dont change ratio's as it will make the car slower and also your speedo will be out and it costs hundreds to try and get someone to recalibrate it .

I assumed an aristo ratio was 3.77
Is there any way to tell what the ratio is simply by looking at it?

It should have an ID tag on it , But normally you would have to have the Build plate info ie, A02B .

Im not sure what the gear ratio's are, but i wouldnt put anything other than the 4.08 factory ratio in a TT soarer .

I have found a NA Automatic Supra Torsen.
I assume this ratio is 4.08?
