hi there, i've done a search through here yet still get the answer for the problem. i dont know much about mechanical stuff so people please help me~

i've got a 91 TT, since last month it has problem when starting the engine. it happens sometimes but not everyday. when i turn the key it feels like battery is flat, the engine starts and lasts for 2-3seconds then it dies itself. i've sent it to a wellknown workshop in perth but when the car was with them it was good. they couldnt find out the problem until one day it was totally dead. RAC came and found out that the starter motor has died. however now the started motor has been changed and the problem still exists!
i was told that that because of the fuel cut or anything relates to fuel ???
this happens since i installed a new audio unit. would it be anything wrong with electric connection or something ?

thanks people!

Fuel Pump Ecu mate . Do a search on it . To bypass ( temporarily ) , you bridge the FP and B+ in the diagnostics box next tot he intake manifold .

Try this and see if the problem goes away. If so, then you need to search for another fuel pump ECU .
