hey guys, i have a jz330 soarer, 1jz, auto with some problems.. when accelerating from stand-still it revs through first gear fine (a little slower than usual though) then seem to get stuck in second gear and harldy accelerates at all. I thought it was definately a gearbox issue but then when i put it into neutral it will not rev properly either which leads me to believe it may be engine related. At no point does the boost go past 0 psi.
any help would be much appreciated.

Either you have blown off an intercooler hose, Map sensor vac line has come off, map sensor faulty , Possibly blown the turbos and the ex wheel is stuck in the cat convertor blocking it causing it to not want to rev .

Check all intercooler hoses and clamps, and all vac lines in the engine bay as well as the map sensor line firstly .

Does it sound different now when you boot it? When my intercooler piping pops off (I have dodgy clamps) it sounds like a hairdryer.
