Hi Guys,
just got my car dynoed after some work, i have the following mods:
To4 conversion 3” Exhaust straight through 2.5” alloy piping & front mount New alloy radiator Stock Internals 850cc Sard injectors 3000rom stall converter Manualised & worked Auto Standard Open Wheeler. 225L/PH wabro fuel pump
238rwkw when piggy backed and Dynoed
Looking on this site, I was expecting just over 300rwkw.
I am being told that the Stallie is loosing a lot of power and also that the original intake plenum is stopping any higher boost.
I can understand the plenum but the stallie?
If this is correct can you let me know and also where to go for an aftermarket plenum?

I went from 440rwhp to 510rwhp by going from 3" dump to 3.5" dump and a 80mm intercooler to a 110mm intercooler. This is with a GT35r and a 3 litre bottom end. Spooled faster and more power. Those are cheap things to look at first. The Warlbro 225 will probably need upgraded as well.

hi guys, not sure which t04 it is all i know is it s a gas research t04 with a .6 rear i think.
i think you might be onto something with the gearing Grant, they would have doen it in 2nd on the shifter however im pretty sure this is 3rd in the box. When i get up it a little and shift from 1st too 2nd it then goes to 3rd by itself and D is overdrive.. this might make a little difference, they are doing a final run this morning so i will get them to try this and see what happens.

hmm.. they did do it in 2nd again.. i think i migh stop worrying about the output on paper and revert to how it actually goes.. i mean i have had quick cars before that show very little power on paper... and built tough V8's with big power but really not that quick on the street.

You got it right Matt.. it is manualised & Worked.. However not how i would expect. Overdrive is disengaged and when on the highway D is overdrive. when you go into 2nd it holds 2nd for a bit then goes too 3rd itself (as it 2nd & #rd are both alinged with 2 (2) on the shifter. Got it back yesterday and it runs like it dynoed 238kw.. but now it idols very rough like a big air leak and also rattles.. flutters when on boost.. sounds like coming form the turbo or turbo side.... GRRRR

HI,
Sorry Rob i cany upload the dyno sheet (in technically challenged) it is running an Exede piggy back. Walter i found out that it is a To4B (old school) with 0.84 rear. Found the problem with the flutter (and assume power loss)
the exhaust manifold has corroded from heat and snapped through one of the welds. it was heat taped which masked the issue for a while.
rewelded it now and putting back together tonight. should be running to potential.. hopefully!
