Hi all, I just did a diagnostics on the Soarer, and it came up with codes 61, 62, 63 and 64. I checked the Soarer Diagnostics page on this forum and it misses all the 60 codes, so I did a search, and only found this page (http://soarercentral.com/sc-forum/messages/51875/224671.html) with code 61. Anyone know what 62, 63 and 64 are, and if 61 is in fact for the Speed Sensor?
OD Light Flashing = ECT (Electronically Controlled Transmission), error codes.
And here is the information you require :
61 - Defective No. 2 Speed Sensor, severed wire harness or short circuit
62 - Defective No 1 Solenoid or short circuit, severed wire harness or short circuit
63 - Defective No 2 Solenoid or short circuit, severed wire harness or short circuit
64 - Severed lock-up solenoid or short circuit, severed wire harness or short circuit
If all error codes are showing, it is a possibility that a wire harness around the lower part of the firewall going to the transmission is disconnected, or the wires have been stripped from abrasion.
Clear codes first by pulling out the EFI Fuse for 30 seconds, then check again.

Cheers Boris. I basically cleared the codes by replacing the ECU from an auto ECU to a manual one (The car was auto, I converted it to manual), the fault codes showed up with both ECU's (I swapped the gearboxes about 4 years ago, only swapped the ECU's about 4 months ago).

If that is the case, is there any way to get rid of the codes, since I have a manual ECU now? It's really annoying having the dash error, for 2 reasons: 1: I have to hit scroll to read the time 2: Because the dash is always red, I am used to it now, and when I split my heater hose about a year ago, I didn't notice the car was telling me that it was too hot, because the dash was red like it always is, and I didn't notice the error change.
