Hey guys so i need to replace all 4 shocks as soon as i have the money. can anyone recommend where i should buy half decent cheap but quality ones from? and also ive heard a lot of people say its a really easy job to switch them over is there any links to a tutorial to this or anything? Any help appreciated thanks!

Rock auto will sell you a set of kyb for around 425 shipped from memory. I believe someone said you can get bilsteins for about 600.

kyb have done a few of my friends some good oem replacements on other cars at good deals. They come with the bumpstops and boots which cost like 40 or something each from repco. hugest rip off ever from repco. I went another brand which i thought were cheaper but i was wrong when factoring in bumpstops let alone shipping :-(

Yeah, I like my KYB's - good value for money. Part number for the front is 341161 (Excel-G's) - Don't have the part number for the rears any more sorry.

TEMS wont work once you change out the struts Mike.
It probably doesn't work now anyway..old age, and if your car is lowered you wont notice it.

My 19yo TT TEMS equipped soarer has TEMS. How do i know when i make the switch into "pwr" the tems do anything at all?

I was asking about shock replacements. I read that there are aftermarket drop-in replacements. Mine still works.
