I get a similar noise on start up, though I think its the water passing through to the heater.

Also I have noticed on some occasions my water hose top radiator hose seems to be sucked in and when I open the radiator cap it pops out again.

Anyone have the same???

Christian,
I'd reckon that'd have to be a partially blocked radiator by my guess. Of course if the radiator cap is no allowing the return of coolant from the reservoir when it cools down it may have the same effect if the hose is old and spongey perhaps.

Thanks David,

I'll look into that you may be on to something.
I was thinking of changing the radiator cap as it is a non original. Bought it like that.
