Sounds like mine Guy. It never wants to start and when it does, goes for about 2 seconds, spitting and choking till it dies. It's like it floods the motor. Initial crank with new plugs shows fuel on the plugs, but testing for spark, they are fine. So, I'm planning an engine swap anyway as the compression results of mine were below par anyway.

Good luck with it. I really mean it.

I had similar problems. Turned out to be the fuel pressure regulator was stuffed and it was leaking fuel into the manifold through the vacuum line. Check your oil to see if there's any fuel in there.

Thanks for pointing out where the Crank Angle Sensor was Chris I couldn't find it before

Would the misfire be contributing to the low voltage running through the car ?

Or would the low voltage contribute to the misfire ?

I think If I solve the voltage might take away the misfire.

It's like the car is not registering that it has a battery or alternator

Cheers

so after replacing
ignitor
battery
alternator
all fuses
plugs
wiring loom coil packs

somewhere in that was the problem

not sure which one but doesn't matter now it's going

Probably in the coil pack loom, but good to hear its all sorted . Painful as it may have been to replace so many parts, at least you have peace of mind they are all replaced and know it will last a long time :-)
