Hey guys, does anyone think upgrading the ct15b ceramic turbine to a metal one would be a viable option? I've come across a rebuilt chra with a metal wheel for around $650 which means i can run higher boost without the worry or the turbine ending up in my cat. My goal is around the 220kw mark.

My other option would be upgrading the whole chra to one with bigger inducer/exducer from hypergear which would cost around $1100. Not sure i can justify the extra $$$

What do you all think?

Hi Jacob,

I have just had mine rebuilt by GCG with GT30 internals and I have achieved 250rwkw at 19psi, but I did also get a Haltech ecu installed and tuned.

Hi brett, those figures are pretty nice! Do you have a dyno print out by any chance?

If i was to upgrade to the steel wheel option or the GT30 chra it would be accompanied with an emanage blue. Do you reckon i could safely push a stock turbo with a steel wheel to 200kw's?

Jacob, you should see 200rwkw with 15psi and a good tune easy enough, I'll find the dyno graph and get it up now.
