Hey guys, just wondering if someone can let me know what each wire from the oxygen sensor is so i can wire it to the new hiflo one i have.

Hi Jacob,

2 Wires are for the heater circuit, They are usually the same colour. One of them has power from the EFI Main relay and the other one is grounded, in most cases grounded by the ECU.

The Third wire which is a different colour is for the Signal output to the ECU.

You simply crimp two of the wires that are the same colour from the wiring harness to the new sensors wires that are the same colour, it doesn't matter which way as it's a heater circuit, it will work both ways.

Now you just crimp the remaining wire from your harness to the new oxygen sensor.

you need to use the specific crimps if your using a universal oxygen sensor as the sensor gets its reference oxygen reading through the wires, if you solder the connectors it will poison the oxygen sensor and not allow it to operate 100%
