Yeah, forgot to crank the motor to build oil pressure before starting. Seized it and scored the
out of the first bearing cap, journal in the head and the stock cam.

take the head to an engine mob and get them to weld it up and i have a set of stock 1j cams in good condition if the cam is scored as well.

I've been reconsidering fixing just the head as there is just way too much work to remove it.
I'm thinking about buying another 1JZ and swapping the motors over, seems easier.
Everything is still up in the air at the moment until I can get some quotes on Monday.
