Hey everyone, quick question...
Lately my car has been idiling a bit rough at only 600 RPM when i know its ment to idle at 800rpm. Also lately when i refuel the guage doesnt recognize it straight away and may only show the new amount of fuel after a restart or just slowly adjusts.. Are they related? or can i for instance just adjust the idle RPM? any help is appreciated. CHEERS

Aiden - no probs starting or anything.... Or i have done is the spark plugs which helped a bit, before then the car was running a lot rougher.
Gary - Are they really? mmmm well i cant quite remember what it idled at when i first bought it but regardless it was still running smoother than what it is now. Is there any other quick things i could do to help?

That's about the only thing that connects the two systems. The battery.
I'd say you have two unrelated issues. One is possibly a sensor clogged so its idle control is off/running rich/reading wrong temp/something. Can (semi)fix by just changing with a flat blade (although if its running rich or lean its not going to do much).
Other is probably just what matt said. I don't know how old your car is but mine is 1991. Its half falling apart! (Like my holey exhaust which fell off and plastic snaping on the window reg etc)

does it mean anything that its running the worst by far when idling in drive???? any help is appreciated.. could it be something simple like fuel filter?

Fuel filter wouldn't cause the gauge to mess up - but there's lots of reasons why your car could be idling poorly. All the fuel related ones are things like filter - pump - injectors - map sensor - o2 sensor etc
