Most of us use a sandwhich plate that mounts between the oil filter and the block.

From memory about $45 on ebay, parts stores etc

Ohh, and unless your oil pressure gauge reads to about 150 psi you wont know what pressure you have at any revs anyway. It will only tell you pressure at idle, or if your pressure is really low. (most gauges run to 100psi only)

I can't think off the top of my head of an external oil line to tap into. Everyone I know of has just used a sandwhich plate or a remote filter.

kevin could you possibly pm or post your phone number?im having trouble posting pics.that way i can send them to your phone.how it works-there is 3 parts adaptor plate, rubber seal and a adaptor bolt.you remove your oil filter, fit adaptor plate with rubber seal where your oil filter was,fit the adaptor bolt and refit oil filter.there is ports in the adapter plate where your oil pressure/temp gauge fittings go.its piss easy man, once you see the pics of it you'll realise.if you can change a oil filter you won't have any trouble.

Salvaging old thread, but I recently bought an oil pressure gauge and I am in a bit of a struggle, where do you guys get your sandwich plates from ? and is the oil pressure sender the bloke under the left side of your intake manifold ?

There are plenty of sandwich plates on eBay, I have been looking too. JDM ones are the go I think. My gauge came with the chunky sender unit, its an extra one to the factory one. Temp sender is next.
