Car starts intermittently. However most of the time it doesn't start. It cranks, but won't fire and run. Did the Fp to B+ fuel ECU bypass, then tried to start the car. I can hear the pump, but didn't make it fire up.

I have run diagnostics and only comes up with "EFI NG", "EFI --",then press scroll button again to get "ECT NG", "ECT --", so absolutely no help if it's not giving me a number.

Cleaned battery terminals, checked fuses.

Next to check is coils, spark plugs.

Any ideas please? This is my only car, and need it working asap, importantly for work.

Broken cam timing belt ? Long shot but yeah .

Blocked fuel filter ?

Run out of fuel ? LOL .

Check for spark 1stly . Remove fuel cap and make sure you dont have a vapour lock i guess as well .

Update - I just unplugged the Mines ECU along with the Emanage and replaced it with my old factory ECU. and it started up straight away. I will stop the engine, then start it to see if it wasn't a fluke. I will also run another diagnostics check.

Cheers Daniel, hopefully it was just something wrong with the Emanage or Mines ECU.

Another update - Stop, started it about 5 times, then took it for a drive. Everything works fine! Ran another diagnostics check and came up with "EFI OK", hit scroll button again, "ECT OK", so I am just over the moon.

Now, here is one question to ask. Will I be doing any harm if I plug in the tuned Emanage to the factory ECU? If I was to do so, hopefully it was the Mines ECU giving out the errors and problems not the Emanage.

Try the mines ECU by itself if possible again and see what happens ? Maybe a bad connection in patch wiring ?

I am guessing hte tune wont be 100% with the stock ECU vs Mines . As you will now have boost cut on the stock ECU working as i would assume Cihan wouldnt set a voltage clamp for boost cut with the Emanage unit working with the Mines ( no need as MInes has boost cut removed ) .

Could just be leaking caps in the mines ECU . You will be ok driving it around . Just turn the boost down to 12psi or drive it lightly until either the mines is fixed and working again , or you get the Emanage retuned .
