Hey guys,

For some reason my speedo is not reading correctly in that it goes from 0-20km/h jumping around and then anything above that speed it just goes to zero and stays there. If i give it a bit and back of the accelerator then the speedo jumps around again and then goes back to zero. Also noticed that the odometer is not increasing in kilometers when driving...is the above problem a symptom of the speedo gear on the auto box?
Shifting between gears is also playing up a bit and I am gathering because it is not getting a proper reading from the auto?

Any feedback would be appreciated...

Yeah mate , you need to replace the speedo gear . CHeck the for sale threads or contact Daniel Savage if he has one lying around .

I sold my spare one to someone in QLD who had same symptoms as you, problem was fixed once they fitted the part :-)

Thanks guys, looking at grabbing a second hand speedo sensor on the weekend, hope that fixes the problem.
