Hey guys,

One last thing on the shopping list for a single conversion, is the TIAL BOV,

Does anyone know what spring rate is needed, they have three options from memory.

the older range or the new range aka MVS38 or MVR44 gate? Go onto there site and they have the spring rates to get specific boost pressures.

the 3 options will most likely be 7.5, 14.5 and around 17/18 psi.

I got a MVR44 with the 7.5 springs for a while but have since upgraded to the 14.5 springs for now, until i go 24psi :-)

Its all on there site :-)

Hello Scott, no I'm after a BOV spring rate,
You need to know what vacuum the engine runs, but have no idea, and can't start engine.

On my E-boost the vacuum at idle is -18 in/HG I think? I haven't payed attention to it in a while.
*Edit* I think it's -22 or -18 depending on whether engine is cold.
My friend runs the white spring on his 1JZ which I think is -8 or -9 psi? Which would work out about that.

Thanks Richard,
It looks like from the Tial website, that for vacuum between minus 16 to 19, to use a 10 psi spring, so will prob go with that.

Brett
