Today i thought i would give my new TT a bath and while i was there degrease the engine i degressed and then as i was power washing it of it started missing and sounds like a CR*&P WRX please help me restore it to normal already tried reseting ecu any help would be appreciated

Its usually something easier than resetting a ECU, just drying spark plug lead connections etc. I think the water repellent sprays use to be useful for this.

Thanks for advice while i was waiting i took coil packs off sprayed them all with little bit of elec contact clean guess i didn t quite have enough pretty much fixed except from 4000 to 5000 below and above is fixed i ll just wait for the rest of water to dry

Yeah Clint, you probably just need to wait for it all to dry. Or go through it with a fine tooth comb with CRC etc.

And avoid using copious amounts of water in the engine bay next time.

why did you wash it with the engine running?

i can understand running it till it hot switch off and then cleaning washing.
