thats the way to do it. then you can pretty much get any type of valve you want, just remember that unless it is plumbed back into the air intake its an instant defect when you get caught. the turbo smart type 3 dual port have a plumb back valve and an external that you can block if you want or leave open when you want the full benifits of external venting.

i machined a couple of bits of stainless and welded them together to fit into the stock bov location. blocks off both orifices. easy as. i think it was 56mm hole centers for the plate to bolt down. 11mm hole in one end and a turned down bit of stock to 29.8mm for the leading 4mm then 29mm for the last 10mm to allow the stock orange o-ring to seal, tig that onto the other end of the plate from the 11mm hole. the same size plug can be turned down to weld on the the side of the plate on an angle that meets the stock rubber pipe entry location. easy as takes about 25mins.

yes its an adapter for a hks ssqv or bov with the same dimensions and is made for the stock bov location which is why i dont need it i put my bov on the fmic piping. can put a pic up if you are keen ?
