Mark, sure thing.
Scott, i've already figured that one out mate
Emanage ultimate + auxilary correction map vs flex unit output = winner.
It also makes things switchable so you can run 95/98RON pump if you need too. I have a couple of Stags and Supra's now running switchable E85 + pump fuel with the EMU - top stuff.

So what do you have to buy to get it to work? obviously a emanage ultimate. I've heard that emanage isn't as good as a pwrfc. I know that pwrfc pretty much just runs it tune and ignores knock and it kinda sucks in a way. But I've heard emanage doesn't deal with knock very well either retards the timing like crazy. I'm currently running a pwrfc tuned to 98ron. Fuel economy is much worse then the stock ecu. So tell me what I need to spend and what units I need to get it to work. It's a bit on the back burner now anyway found out that e85 has done a runner for the moment with the NSW/QLD mandate for e10 in all their fuel.

Scott, You shouldn't get shoddy fuel economy or knock feedback in the first place.
The Stagea is running a static map and the variance / slack is taken up by 02 correction and the tune. As stated its been running over 270awkw for 2 years, and the same engine / fuel system is getting an upgraded GTX30 series turbo + billet hanger setup for over 300awkw.
There isn't much difference between E70 and E85, in terms of stoichiometry its ~%5-7. The good thing about this fuel is it'll run happily much leaner on a relative basis to petrol on boost before exhaust gas temperatures ultimately catch up and it needs additional enrichment. IE the transition from cruise to full load is using less fuel as a 'percentage' than 98RON petrol.
The problem with most tuned PowerFC's is corrections, not only do the Japs overdo ignition advance in these cars - they don't fine tune corrections. If they're not fine tuned - you will not get the same economy or consistent performance the car is capable of.
The 1J + powerFC combo is dynamite for fuel economy and tune-ability especially in VVTI models, perfectly suitable for E85/E70.
Regarding the Emanage ultimate and 'timing' retard, just another myth. Thats the standard ECU picking up knock feedback and trying to protect the engine - nothing to do with the Ultimate itself - its all up to the guy with the laptop.
