Hey guys I have a 91 TT Soarer.

I'm having a high idle at about 1700rpm in park. I changed 2 of the sensors (The hard to reach ones) but I didn't get the easier one and its a little more expensive.

Would this be the problem or would it be something else? I just want to know before I spend the money on another sensor.

which sensors did you replace? would this be a MAP sensor related problem? or the ICV 9idle control valve) gettin stuck? try cleaning the ICV, be careful tho that you dont lose any part of it whilst removing and cleaning

Look at the throttle body, top left hand side, from memory there is a screw that if adjusted will move the throttle bit where the cable connects and this in turn will adjust the butter fly valve in your throttle body.

Have you replaced or moved anything lately?
Could be your tps but i wouldnt touch this unless your positive what your doing.

Ok well on the 1JZ engine it was the 2 that are hard to get to on the top of the engine. You have to take apart and remove a bunch of lines before you can get to them. I think they are magnetic? I'm not sure because someone else did them for me and said it would probably fix the problem. Unfortunately it didn't but he didn't charge me.

I haven't touched anything lately but i will be fixing my Wastegate soon. I overboost wayyyyy too high so the ecu cuts the fuel.

sounds like you have a vacuum leak dude. check all vacuum lines into the intake plenum, if your overboosting without any modifications to the stock system, then i would also check the wastegate actuator hoses. also look over your stock BOV lines etc.
