Hey guys I've been having a long standing wierd issue with my engine light coming on after I hit 100km/h. Nothing seems to be at fault, the car runs buttery smooth and it doesn't misfire under load or struggle, I've changed over the O2 sensor and given it a bath in new oils, filters and plugs yet it still pops up every time.

Any clue or is this just a bug I should ignore?

Low oil pressure at low RPM? See if it comes up at the same RPM at a lower speed by holding it in a lower gear.

so I should hold it in 2nd for a while at bout 2700 and see if it triggers the light you say, I'll give it a shot on the weekend, thanks

does the engine light only come on for oil pressure?

maybe check to see if any fault codes have been thrown

Actually in the pov dash there is a separate light for oil pressure isn't there? So I'm probably totally on the wrong track.
