I have a 91 1jz soarer with 110k kms (90k? miles). Some days the cars ride quality is really really harsh. In the city i can feel every little pebble on the road and the tire roar/road noise is unbearable. Also the car tends to pull to the right when the road is uneven. But on some days, completely random, the car rides silky smooth, almost as smooth as my girlfriends new 745 bmw. Little road noise/tire roarer, the suspension actually feels like it has damping going over rough sections of the the road. Sometimes i get a silky smooth ride for a day then the next morning it goes to again. Also when the ride is smooth I get great gas mileage 22+ mpg, when it gets rough it all goes to 16mpg if im lucky. I didn't think these two problems were related ( maybe its not?) until I started checking my gas gauge constantly when the ride is smooth I would drive from work and back about 20kms and only use 2-3liters, when its rough its like 4-5 liters ( ????ing brutal, price for 93 octane is $5/gal here)
I think it might be the suspension bushings coupled with bad engine mounts causing my alignment to go out in and out? I bought the car 2 years ago and had this issue since day one, not as bad when i got it but its getting worse and worse.

if the suspension are rubber bushings then. Jack the car up look at the suspension bushing. If there crack , frayed or just breaking apart lol then yeah time to get a new set
as for the car pulling to the right im not to sure but have you check the wheel alignment mate

Bushes for sure mate, mine tram lines if you brake and I've checked mine and sure as hell they are shot! Should be a few companies doing urethane or nolathane replacements, bit stiffer than rubber but last longer and give a sharper more accurate feel!
