Hi guys,

My car every now and then goes into limp mode because the coilpack connector wire seems to be cracked or it just keeps on sliding off slightly, although today it has happened to me three times, especially after boosting which makes me think it's somewhat related to the harness. Any ideas with what I can do?

If its the coil pack clip or wire, just replace them?
Do you know for sure? You dont have a faulty coil do you?

When limp mode starts, I get out of the car while it's still running and take off the cam cover, then I just wriggle the wire around a bit until the limp mode sound goes away! I was assuming it was a cracked wire, wasn't sure if it could be replaced! If it was a faulty coil pack I thought it was come on constantly!

Thanks Dan! I'll give it a shot! Yeah Adrian when the car's in limp mode it sounds significantly different to what the car sounds like when it's running normal. Another alternative is to just check and see if the engine light has gone off :-)
