Hey guys,
well because we have nearly finished the car my brother decided to make things a little harder and go start breaking stuff. His accidently broke off a plastic nipple to some sort of valve coming off the throttle body after getting a bolt undone for the last three injectors. We have thought about using industrial glue, but that is a bit dodgy. If any one has any idea what this part is called it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Luke.

I have broken one of these before. If you still have the broken piece it is a easy fix. place a pin or match in the hole with the broken piece on the pin.leave the pin in the hole and glue back together.when its dry pull the pin out.

it isnt a one way valve its a dampener for your map sensor.. helps take out fluctuations or you will get rough vacuum/boost signal to your sensor. without it you will get a small peak/valley signal each time a valve opens/closes etc so basically just smooths airflow out to sensor

and mark what you said can work but there is a trick.. with the pin/match put a small coat of grease on it so the glue doesnt stick to it and will slide out when its dry.. im sure people with random manifolds around would have one.. try daniel savage on here or possibly a wreckers if you are after one sooner

Thanks heaps guys, I'll give Toyota a shot and see if they can come up with it but it's been a bit hit and miss with them lately getting the right parts. I'll try the glue trick in the meantime.
