Anyone knows if one that's made for the 1jz would suit a 2jz? Cheers.

Should do. I was looking for a long time and couldn't find one even remotely suited, so ended up buying a damper and am going to make up my own custom mounts/brackets when I get around to it.

If you have a linky to the 1J one I'd be keen to have a look.

a 1j would be damn close though. There are kits in Japan, they all range from about 250 to 300.
I just had one arrive from the states about an hour ago , I'm going to just custom make all the brackets, it isn't a big job either way.

But not sure whether it will work on a 2JZ. It also mentioned it might hit intake piping if you have customised ones.

Yeah does anyone know if you can buy a strut by itself and custom make your own brackets? Instead of say buying a skyline one or something?

Yes, look up engine damper or torque damper.

I got an Ingalls Stiffy. Seems to have good reviews, all parts are available and it's adjustable for firmness.
