Would anyone have a clue why my TT (single turbo) wont start.
theres nothing ticking over when i turn the keys. i have a brand new battery all connections have been checked. turbo timer . boost controller all functioning.
when i turn over the keys to start all i can hear is the fuel pump buzzing.
tried whacking the starter motor but still no luck

Had the same thing happen with my TT recently.
Needed a new stater.... The 1j type were fairly difficult to find. Ended up sourcing one from a TT 2JZ Aristo, it was quite allot larger than the original and the auto electrician said a plug was slightly different. It did however bolt up without any issues and was a cheaper alternative to finding a matching 1J starter motor (at least in Brisbane)
