Wow nice and cheap, good find. Think Ill have to grab one.
Is it ok to move the O2 sensor down to the dump pipe rather than keeping it in the y-piece? Seems like it must be creating a bit of flow restriction in the factory position...

I have purchased the o2 sensor in the ebay link. I am not sure if they've changed something as I have used the same sensors from same seller in the past. I installed the sensor a couple weeks ago and fuel consumption increased! I ran it for 500km before unplugging it. With the sensor the car ran worse. It lost power and gearbox started to play up. I disconnected the sensor and the car instantly ran better. Fuel consumption improved (with no sensor) by 2L/100km. I'm not sure why these sensors no longer work. It measured at 7.8ohms while one of my spare oem (functioning) sensors measures 6ohms. Any ideas?

Like Costa said Denso are Good and you get what you pay for sometimes with things like this, so is Bosch.
Many of the Cheaper sensors on Ebay are hit and miss I've had bad experiences with a few only lasting 2500km, some of them fail in weird ways and put out a voltage that confuses the ECU bigtime and does all sorts of weird things. But then again some of them are good quality too it depends which ones you get.
I sell O2 Sensors which last a decent time but they are not Plug and Play but can be made to work if you don't mind spending 3 more extra minutes wiring them in.
