No worries manual. I doubt I'll get much lower than a 12.6 on this tune full weight. If/when I get cams I might get into the low 12s but I guess time will tell (pardon the pun).

Thanks for the offer Daniel. Ill keep plodding along on street tyres for now but I will chuck some slicks on next season. I just want to know how slow my "fully sick 19s" make my car. It helps me decide on wether or not I should choose function over form if you know what I mean.

James, vls have to be the easiest cars in the world to get good times out of. Rb30s are such an underrated motor. A local guy has a rb26 head on an rb30 block and he's pushing out 500rwkw+ out of his r34.

Rb30's have been my fav motor for a long time

It cost me $450 to turbo it and ran 13.286 on 10psi it had such aggresive torque when it hit 3000rpm.

There is a street meet next Sunday the 11th daytime . Racing from 11 - 5pm i think .
No worries Sebastian . Im going to be throwing some Nitto's or KU36 under the rear on my 18's . the Ku31's are decent , but i want more traction on the street . Im sure the Nitto's or KU36 will get 1.8 or better 60's .

Hello Mr Antonio long time no see.

I will be hitting the track after I fix my suspension and steering rack. Since I bought the Soarer 3 years ago the steering rack has been leaking very slowly. Past few months it has gotten worst to the point now the steering is rooted and dangerous. Best way to explain it. When you are driving straight on a road, if you turn the steering 20 degrees to the left or right the car continues straight even though the steering wheel is turned. Then go an extra 5 degrees past that and it turns hard. Its a weird feeling. And it needs to be fixed first before I drag again.

Hows your beast going. Raumin has a manual soarer now. Its got all the bolts ons. I gave him my old UAS Dumps and my 440cc injectors out of my old motor. Paden has tuned it with the Emanage and it is making some very good power. He got 235RWKW on 17psi on a mainline dyno. To put that in perspective I got 225RWKW in my 1J Soarer Auto on the same dyno. And 2 days later I got 254RWKW on Unigroups Dyno.

So I am expecting him to have over 265RWKW not bad for stock turbos. It chirps 3rds now. It is very quick he gives me a bit of trouble in my 2JZ on a roll but top end my car slowly gets away from him. Could Raumin be the first 12 second manual soarer. We will find out soon.

I used to run Kumho KU31's 275/40 on the street and strip on 17 inch rims. They were an awesome tyre. I got heaps of 1.8 60 footers and on a few occasions 1.7 60 footers.

I have gone to the KU36's now and they feel like they grip even harder now on the street, Havent really had a chance to try launch it at the drags with any anger to test them out. But in the Wet these KU36's scare me lol. Lets just say I have had some interesting moments in the past few months when it has been raining.

I might take you up on the offer soon Daniel to lend the radials off you. On one condition friend, we have a go each at the drags in my car me and you :-)

Yep. Be very careful with the KU36 in the wet. KU36 needs a bit of heat in them to grip, and the wet keeps them cold.

We had 275/40/17 semis fit on the rear no problems, just with rolled guards, but went back to 235s because of the cost :-)

17 inch 275/40 tyres fit with no modifications on my Soarer. However a friend of mine put different 17 inch rims with 275/40 and they were scrubbing.

I think it all depends on the offset of the rim.

275/35/18 on an 18x10 rim +45 offset fits under a stock unmodified non rolled guard. It's just ever so slightly touches the plastic trim occasionally. (not enough to rub the markings off the tyre sidewall)

275/40/17 on a 17x9.5 rim +50 offset (supra rim) fits easily with a bit of room to spare.

Same here 275/40/17 fenders untouched and stopped rubbing plastic guard after alignment was done.
This is off topic but very curious,as to why you guys don't spray meth.

If not the track boys we need to hit the Hway on a nice sunny day for a cruise either towards Hunter Valley or Nelson Bay or any other place where we can have a bit of fun:-).
