I need to replace my stock rubber return lines. Can someone advise on a an alternative appart from toyota. I've tried going the ebay braided / teflon kit but there's something seriously wrong with it. It either needs a restrictor or the return line on it isn't big enough as my car is smoking like crazy.
I rang toyota to get the oil return lines but it's a 1 month wait from Japan. I'll be epa'd if I wait that long. Does anyone know what type of hose is suitable and where I can buy it. I've tried silicone ones in the past on previous car but they only lasted a week or two.

go and see your local hydraulic repair mob. the hose i have used is a 7/8 hose with wire reinforcement and an outer weave. i got mine from pirtek and i think it cost me $50 for 1m of hose and 4 t bolt clamps.

Thanks Matt. I called Pirtek as there's one in Bendigo but their rubber oil hoses are only rated to 100degrees. I'm guessing that's not going to handle the heat for long?
